Nintendo store visit 2

So, yesterday I met up in London with three friends.
After catching a train I arrived at Liverpool Street at just gone 12:15. One friend soon arrived there a bit later and we caught the train to Farringdon area to meet up with our other two friends. After we all met up we went to Byron Burgers for lunch. I had a cheeseburger with fries and it was absoloutely delicious. :)
Then we walked to the Nintendo pop-up store. After the success of the last pop-up store last November, Nintendo opened up another one which is lasting there until November. This time it was located in an Argos store. Half the store was dedicated to Nintendo, with deocrations, cardboards cut-outs and a Mario statue among the displays in the store. There were multiple shelves deidcated to all things Nintendo. :) And it was nice to see plenty of Pokemon merch this time, as that was the only major series missing at the last pop-up store.
I ended up buying two Mario blind bag figurines (I got Toad and DK). As well as a Mario themed dobble game (I used to love playing Dobble at college, but haven't played it since I was at college), some Mario magnets, some Mario stickers that are specifically for tech, a Mario light decoration which has the main 3 Mario power-ups on its display (mushroom, flower and star), some coasters that shaped like NES cartirdges, some Mario snack dishes that are for putting snacks in, but I plan on just displaying them on my bookslef as decorations (one is a mystery block, the other is the standard brown block, the other is a green pipe), and a Pokemon art set. In total this cost me £92. So I spent less than I did at the previous Nintendo store. One friend and I ended up getting most of the same items as we were influencing each other's purchases quite a lot. xD One of my other friends bought a Mario blind bag.

After this we played some bowling and then headed home.
Overall, a fantastic day and I loved it. :) Great to visit the second Nintendo pop-up store. :) i prefered the first one more as they had more limited edition merch and Nintendo music playing in the store. The second store had more general Nintendo items that weren't exclusive to the store, but it was still cool. And at this rate, Nintendo might open a permanent store sometime soon. Who knows. I think they'll do a few more pop-up stores first thought as experiments to see if the success continues and if it's profitable long term.
